Before you buy

How is this different from CHOP-1?+

CHOP-1 is a playable chop sampler — one loop, pads, MIDI. Stem Batch is a batch utility: queue whole folders, write organized stem libraries, and optionally slice/export from the detail view.

Do I need the Demucs model?+

For full-quality separation, run scripts/download_demucs_model.sh once. Without it, Stem Batch falls back to fast spectral stems so you can still test the workflow.

Windows support?+

macOS has full ONNX Demucs today. Windows builds use the heuristic fallback until ONNX Runtime is wired for that platform.

Is this a subscription?+

No. Monarch licenses are buy-once / perpetual. Activate on up to three machines and re-download from your account anytime.

Which formats and platforms?+
